It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aaron Randall Wortman, who left us on Saturday April 26th at the age of 40. Aaron was a beloved father, son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, friend and a light to all who knew him.
Born on October 17th 1984 in Wichita KS .Aaron lived a life full of compassion, humor, and kindness. He had a remarkable ability to make others feel valued and loved, with a laugh that could brighten even the darkest of days.
Aaron's spirit was adventurous, his heart was generous, and his loyalty to those he cared about was unwavering.
He is survived by his children, Adisynn and Lyncoln Wortman, mother Cynda Wortman, grandfather LeeRoy Evans, grandmother Geraldine Wortman, siblings, Korie (Chris) Avila, Matthew (Crystal) Wortman. Fiancé, Maranda Yost and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Kent Wortman, grandfather, Willard Wortman, grandmother, Carol Evans and aunt, Karen Riddel.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the memories we shared and the profound impact he made in his time with us.
An open house celebration of life will be held on Wednesday April 30th from 2-5 PM at The Cottage, 8700 South Hoover Road, Haysville, where family and friends will gather to celebrate his life.
Aaron's love, laughter, and light will never be forgotten. We will carry his memory in our hearts forever.
