In Loving Memory of Alauna Audrey Kennedy
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alauna Audrey Kennedy, on Monday, December 22, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas. Born on September 20, 1999, to Louis Charles Kennedy & Jennifer Marie Pollard. A beloved daughter, sister, and mother, who left this world far too soon at the age of 26.
Alauna was the devoted mother of her precious 6-year-old daughter, Tyauna Kennedy Hughes, who was the light of her life. She shared an unbreakable bond with her sister, Olivia Marie Kennedy—a connection built on love, laughter, and unwavering support.
Known for her quiet and friendly nature, Alauna had an infectious smile that could brighten any room. She had a nurturing spirit and was often described as someone who "mothered everyone," offering comfort and care to those around her. Her love for vibrant, neon colors reflected her radiant personality and zest for life.
Though her time with us was brief, Alauna touched countless hearts with her kindness, warmth, and strength. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Survivors include her daughter, Tyauna Kennedy Hughes; mother, Jennifer Pollard, and her husband, Jeffery; father, Louis Kennedy and Ashly Stafos; sister, Olivia Marie Kennedy, all of Wichita, Kansas; maternal grandparents, Chuck and Toni Combow of Merriam Woods, Missouri; paternal grandparents, Charles and Sue Kennedy of Wichita, Kansas; uncle, Aaron Alfaro, and his son, Benjamin Alfaro, of Cornwall, England; aunt, Alicia Alfaro of Jackson, Wyoming; uncle, Cory Combow, and his wife, Elly, of Omaha, Arkansas; six great-aunts; six great-uncles; and numerous other family and friends.
"Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day—unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear."
A Celebration Of Life will be held Saturday, December 27th at 5:00p.m. at Fairmount Park in Wichita, Kansas with a balloon release in the colors of red, white and pink. Family and friends are welcome to show their love for Alauna.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for Alauna's daughter, Tyauna Kennedy Hughes. Please send any condolences or financial gifts to: Jennifer and Jeffery Pollard, 4817 N. Peregrine Street, Wichita, KS 67219.
