Ana R. Chang a centenarian was born on July 13, 1922 and she passed away at 9:15am on November 11, 2025 at the age of 103 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita KS.  Her son and granddaughter were with her when heaven called her home.  She has been the one force that had a constant presence in my life and in that life I witnessed an abundance of tenacity, determination, grit and strength.  Though her young life was not the easiest and full of constant struggles her later years were blessed in comfort.

I believe the truth is that our individual and collective memories from family tell of a woman that continued to be there no matter what the situation and she was an inspiration.  She is survived by two sons Jose Serrano Chang and Carlos Jurado; four granddaughters Gardenia Stricklin, Hannah Jurado, Jasmin Serrano, and Ana Macre; and four great grandchildren Delilah Baeza, Gaby Grijalva, Alex Grijalva, and Noelle Rodriguez.

Rest in peace Ana Chang,  we will mourn your earthly absence but we take comfort in knowing that as Psalm 23 reminds us, 'Ana Chang now dwells in the house of the Lord forever' free from pain and full of eternal joy.

Ana R. Chang centenaria nació el 13 de julio de 1922 y falleció a las 9:15am el 11de noviembre de 2025 a la edad de 103 años en el Hospital St. Francis en Wichita KS. Su hijo y su nieta estaban con ella cuando el cielo la llamó a casa. Ella ha sido la única fuerza que tuvo una presencia constante en mi vida y en esa vida fui testigo de una abundancia de tenacidad, determinación, valentía y fuerza. Aunque su joven vida no fue la más fácil y llena de constantes luchas, sus últimos años fueron bendecidos con comodidad.

Creo que la verdad es que nuestros recuerdos individuales y colectivos de la familia hablan de una mujer que continuó allí sin importar la situación y ella fue una inspiración. Le sobreviven 2 hijos Jose Serrano Chang y Carlos Jurado; 4 nietas Gardenia Stricklin, Hannah Jurado, Jasmin Serrano y Ana Macre; y 4 bisnietos Delilah Baeza, Gaby Grijalva, Alex Grijalva, y Noelle Rodriguez.

Descansa en paz Ana Chang, lloraremos tu ausencia terrenal, pero nos consolamos al saber que como el Salmo 23 nos recuerda, "Ana Chang ahora mora en la casa del Señor para siempre" libre de dolor y alegría plena o eterna.
