Anita June Wylie, 65, died Friday, February 27, 2026 at her home outside of Augusta, Kansas.

She was born on January 18, 1961 in Wichita, Kansas. Anita was raised in Wichita and graduated from Southeast High School.

She married Terry Russell Wylie. They lived in Park City and Towanda before settling in Augusta eight years ago. Terry died on March 30, 2020.

Anita enjoyed doing woodworking crafts and singing.

Survivors include her children Taylor Wylie and wife Brittany, Trey Wylie, Tessa Khalidi and husband Ramsey, Tara Wylie and fiancé Andrew Seiber; and her four grandchildren Rylynn Wylie, Kyden Wylie, Rowan Khalidi, and Kasen Seiber all of Augusta.

Anita is also survived by her mother Wilma Robson; and brothers Chris Wedel and wife Staci, Steve Wedel and wife Joan all of Derby.

She is preceded in death by her father Lavern Wedel and husband Terry.

No services are being planned.
