Aurora Garcia – Holguin, 57, passed away on December 15, 2024 in Wichita, Ks. She was born on April 28, 1967 in Hidalgo Del Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico to Ramon Garcia and Genoveva Holguin.

She migrated to Dodge City, Kansas in 1991 where she resided until earlier this year when she moved to Wichita. She grew up in the catholic faith, and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Dodge City. She was a very strong mother figure to everyone in her life, she was a very involved and dedicated mother. She never missed a single event that involved her children. She loved to make people laugh, listen to music, and dancing. She was a great cook and was known for her homemade tortillas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and three siblings.

She is survived by her four children; Jesus Mario Garcia Sr and wife Kelsey, of Lawrence, Omar Garcia, of Dodge City, Jaime Garcia and partner John of Wichita, and Paola Rascon Garcia of Wichita, 10 surviving siblings, two grandchildren; Jesus Mario Garcia Jr, and Rylee Mae Garcia, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. with viewing until 9:00 p.m., mass to follow on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. both held at Church of the Magdalen 12626 E 21st Street N Wichita, Ks 67206.

Cremation to take place, burial will be held in Dodge City, Ks at a later date.
