Barbara (Janzen) Stewart, 77, of Wichita, KS, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, following a lengthy illness.  She was born in Bethesda, MD, but lived most of her life in the Wichita, KS, area.

She is survived by her sister Jean (Dennis) Johnson of Fort Dodge, IA; brother Frank (Jackie) Janzen of Temecula, CA; sister Karen Brouillette of Wichita, KS; and brother Alan (Kim) Janzen of Wichita, KS; special nephews and nieces and their children; and her longtime friends, Buffy and Ron.

She is preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Mildred Janzen, and her brother-in-law Rob (Karen) Brouillette.

Barbara had a very kind heart with a feisty spirit.  She enjoyed her flower garden, collecting pretty glassware, reading her Bible, supporting her country, and watching her favorite TV programs with her sweet little dog, Heidi.

A memorial/celebration of life service will be held at Friendship Baptist Church, Wichita, KS, on Saturday,  March 14th at 11:00 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, we request memorials be given to Friendship Baptist Church or a church of your choosing.
