Bettie LuElla Morris, 94, formerly of Pratt, Kansas, died Sunday, May 10, 2026 at the Hilltop Manor in Cunningham, Kansas.

She was born on October 10, 1931 in Hamilton, Kansas, the daughter of Elmer S. and Verina Cummins Logsdon. Bettie's early years were spent in the Hamilton area before the family moved to Winfield, Kansas where she graduated high school. She went on to Ft. Hays State College in Hays, Kansas where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree.

Bettie was a school teacher in Jetmore, Kansas for a few years. Living on a farm outside of Bucklin for several years. She operated an upholstery shop in Mullinville and for several years was a Evaluation Technician for Northern Natural Gas in Mullinville. After selling the farm Bettie moved to Pratt.

She enjoyed sewing for family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter Sherry Martin of Garden City; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Bettie is preceded in death by her parents; son Dana S. Morris; daughter DeeAnn Rundell; and brothers Charles, Carl and Max Logsdon.

Graveside and inurnment services will be held in the Janesville Cemetery in Hamilton, Kansas on Saturday, May 23rd at 2:00 P.M.
