Bonita Jane Bosley, 62, of Haysville, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Advena Living of Fountain View in Rose Hill, Kansas.

She was born on March 4, 1963, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of John Wayne and Joyce Harper Griffith.

Bonita spent most of her life in the Wichita and Haysville area. Over the years, she worked in construction and most recently as a machinist for Wescon Plastics in Wichita.

Bonita loved the freedom of the open road and was a proud friend of the El Forastero Motorcycle Club. She also enjoyed spending quiet moments doing puzzles and arts and crafts, creating beautiful things with her hands. Bonita had an incredible green thumb and could bring any plant back to life.

She is survived by her mother, Joyce Griffith of Haysville; her son, Gage Webb and his wife Kimberly of Wichita; her daughter, Heather McLeod and her fiancé Collin Hawk of Derby; and her beloved grandchildren, Rory Pittman, Weston Webb, Bryton Hawk, and Bowen Hawk.

Bonita was preceded in death by her father, John Wayne Griffith; her sister, Juline; her daughter, Dusti; and her son, Nicholas.

Bonita will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her creativity, and her deep love for her family and friends. Her laughter, warmth, and resilience will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 7th at 11am at the El Paso Cemetery, 700 E Kay Street, Derby, KS 67037 with Bishop Darren Booth of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiating.
