Bradley "Brad" George Kerby, 75, of Derby, Kansas, passed away on October 30, 2026.

Born on June 1, 1951, in Clay Center, Kansas, to Thomas and Lucille (Krenzer) Kerby, Brad lived a life marked by deep patriotism, dedication, and a love for his grandchildren.

Brad proudly served his country as a United States Army Veteran—a calling that defined much of his life and character. He considered himself adorned with the American Flag and was a steadfast, active member of the Derby VFW for over 30 years, where he shared lifelong camaraderie with fellow veterans. Professionally, Brad brought that same strong work ethic to Boeing, where he dedicated over 30 years of his career.

Outside of work and service, Brad was a man of unique and delightful passions. He was an enthusiastic collector of "As Seen on TV" items, always eager to see what clever invention was coming next. But above all else, his greatest joy and pride in life was being a proud "Paw Paw" to his beloved grandchildren, Jace and Amelia.

Brad is survived by his children, Brandon Kerby, Chad (Sokhom) Kerby, and Jordan (Chelsea) Kerby; his adoring grandchildren, Jace and Amelia Kerby; and his sisters, Shellie Voelzke and Ronda McKnight.

He leaves behind a legacy of service, patriotism, and immense love for his family and country. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
