Brady Howard McLeod

Brady Howard McLeod, 53, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on October 16, 2026. He was born on December 18, 1972, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Grant and Robbin McLeod.

Brady married the love of his life, Sandra, on October 10, 1998. Together, they shared 28 years of marriage and raised four children: Kilah, Lillian, Andrew, and Julia. His children and grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and few things brought him greater happiness than his three grandchildren, Valentina, Lewis, and Adalyn, who lovingly called him "Pops." He adored them, and the time he spent with them was among his greatest joys.

Brady was exceptionally intelligent, with a sharp mind and a wonderfully dry sense of humor. He could be quiet and observant, then catch everyone off guard with a perfectly timed remark. His children will always remember his unique expressions and the funny ways he pronounced certain words, little things that will continue to bring laughter and fond memories for years to come.

Thoughtful and generous with both family and friends, Brady had a way of showing people he cared through the time and attention he gave them. He made a point of staying connected, whether through daily games with his family, individual lunch dates, or coffee visits with his parents. Those simple traditions became meaningful reminders of his love and the special place his family held in his heart.

Brady graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and built a successful career in finance and the credit union industry. Throughout his professional life, he was known for his intelligence, expertise, dedication, and leadership. He took pride in his work and earned the respect of colleagues and peers throughout his career.

A man of Christian faith, Brady carried a belief in God that remained the centerpiece of his life. He valued the people around him and was generous with his time, his knowledge, and his willingness to help others. Those who knew him will remember not only his intelligence and quick wit, but also his thoughtful gestures and the genuine care he showed to those he loved.

Brady is survived by his wife, Sandra McLeod; his children, Kilah (Adam) Stevens, Lillian (Ethan) McLeod-Schaffer, Andrew McLeod, and Julia McLeod; his grandchildren, Valentina, Lewis, and Adalyn; his parents, Grant and Robbin McLeod; his sister, Keely (Aaron) Stevens; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Brady's life on earth ended far too soon, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and countless moments still wished for. While his absence will be felt every day, the memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave will remain. His family finds comfort in their faith and in knowing that the bonds of love extend far beyond our time together on earth.
