Brenda Kay Chastain, 66, passed away on September 1, 2025 at her home in El Dorado, Ks. She was born on March 26, 1959 in Eureka, Ks to Gary and Shirley (Key) Huston.

She was an avid gardener; she always had beautiful flower beds and the best-looking house on the block. She absolutely loved animals of all kinds, and would often make friends with and take care of the stray cats around the neighborhood. She once caught a black widow spider not knowing what kind it was to admire its beauty.  It was later released for her safety.

Her home was always decorated with various antiques. She enjoyed journaling as a way to relax.  She created dozens of heartfelt journals with beautiful pictures over the last 15 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Bob Chastain, and companion, Kenny Miller.

She is survived by her daughters; Tiffany Whitley (Jake) of Sweetwater, Tx, Tammy Teter of El Dorado, Ks, and Beca Glock (Cannon) of Towanda, Ks. 7 grandchildren; Allen, Rebekah, Jessie, Emma, Addison, Abram, and Emerick.
