Cai Steven Yeager, Sr., 35, died Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at his home in Wichita, Kansas surrounded by his family.

He was born on October 5, 1990 in Olathe, Kansas, the son of Tracy Yeager and Zina Evans. Cai was raised in Ottawa, Kansas.

He had lived in Wichita for the past four years. Cai married Leah Rachelle Norris on December 1, 2024 in Wichita.

Cai loved being a jokester and doing rap. He was a very supportive role model.

Survivors include his wife Leah of the home; his sons who he loved to spend time with, Jaxxon Yeager, Carter Yeager, Logan Yeager, and Cai Yeager, Jr. all of Wichita; his father Tracy and bonus mom Debra Kelly of Paola, Ks.; mother Zina of Wichita; brothers Jacy Yeager of Paola, Dillon Yeager of Baxter Springs, Ks., Matthew Evans of Green Bay, Wisc., and sister Daryan Yeager of Independence, Ks.; bonus brothers and sisters Tim & Madison Cornett of Chanute Ks,  Willie & Cierra Lute of Wichita, Deacon Perkins; sister-in-law Kayla Yeager; along with numerous nieces and nephews that he loved and cherished.

Cai is preceded in death by his grandmother Dorothy Evans; grandfather John S. Yeager; and sister Tonya Mealman

The family hold a celebration of life.
