Carolyn Rae Bilyeu, 69, died on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at the home of her niece in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on November 11, 1956 in Wichita. The family moved to Bennettsville, South Carolina where Carolyn was raised and attended school.

She lived in Denver, Colorado for a short time before moving to Wichita 40 years ago. Carolyn was married to Robert Bilyeu.

She loved to draw and art along with spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son David Woodle and wife Melissa of Denver, Colo.; sisters Dixie Woodle of Bennettsville, Mary Dickson of Wichita; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her father Walker Ray Woodle, Sr.; mother Bertha May Lawhorn Kaemmerer; brothers Fredrick Kaemmerer, III; Walker Woodle, Jr.; and sister Linda Shuler.

Private family services will be held.
