Cecile Strong, born January 13, 1946, a longtime resident of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in Andover, Kansas, on Saturday, February 14, 2026.

She was preceded in death by multiple family members, including her daughter, Jamie Brooks, and her son, Steven Brooks.

Cecile is survived by her daughter, Sheneta Ross of Wichita; granddaughters Mystic Ross, and Robbie Ross all of Wichita, Kansas; Alecia Brooks, Stephanie Brooks, and Jaslin Brooks all of Oklahoma. She also leaves behind friends and extended family.

Cecile's life will be remembered for her strength, the quiet love she shared with her family and friends, and the care, dignity, and presence that marked her final days.

As requested by Cecile Strong, there will be no memorial service.

Cecile's care has been entrusted with Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
