Charles Patrick Coen, 64, died Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at his home in Wichita, Kansas. ]

He was born in Colony, Kansas on December 13, 1961, the son of Perry and Beverly Eleen Hineline Coen. The family moved to Wichita, Kansas were he graduated from Wichita South High School.

Charles had been a Press Operator for the Coleman Company and later was a plumber for Reddy Rooter Service in Wichita until he became a self employed plumber before retiring.

He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and through the years had coached little league football and baseball.

Survivors include his sons Justin Coen of Wichita, Chaz Capps of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and grandchildren Tiaira Parks, Key Coen, Auda Coen as well as one on the way.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Michael, Dennis, and Daniel; and sister Rebecca.

Arrangements are by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
