Charles Franklin Pope, Jr., 59, lifelong Wichita, Kansas resident, was reunited with his mother and father in the presence of the Lord on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

Chuckie was born on November 8, 1966 in Wichita, KS the son of Charles Franklin and Mattie Ruth Munson Pope, Sr. He attended Carlton Junior High and graduated from Derby High School where he was active in sports. He loved playing basketball and baseball.

Chuckie will be missed and remembered fondly by his sister Portia Pope of Grand Prairie, Texas along with his nephew Brandon Level (Elizabeth), Chandler Hill (Josh), Courtenay Speese, Camryn Speese, a great niece, 4 nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 30 at Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.

Private family inurnment will take place beside his parents in Columbus, Mississippi.
