Cherry Lee Jarvis, 74, of Rose Hill, Kansas, passed away on December 9, 2024 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on September 20, 1950 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Coyce Jerald and Willa Mae Tully Avery.

Cherry had lived the majority of her life in the Wichita area. She married Jon Dale Jarvis on December 22, 1987. He died on May 24, 2020.

Survivors include her daughters Melissa Bowser and husband Patrick of Wichita, Laura Meaders of Yukon, Okla.; Sonya Seaton and husband James of Wellington, Ks.; sister Jeneia Ann Avery Harjo and husband Gerald of Wichita; brother Steve Mitchell Avery of Savannah, Georgia,; and six grandchildren Alysha James, Aydann Boknecht, Seven Lara, Brice and Tristan Tucker, and Ronin Kinet.

Her graveside services will be on at 1:00 P.M., January 6th 2025 at Greenwood Cemetery in Wichita.
