Clifford Ormond Bentley, 73, of Wichita, Kansas, died Sunday, December 21, 2025 at the Medicalodge of Wichita.

He was born on February 5, 1952 in Los Angeles, California, the son of William Burt and Leota Mina Miller Bentley. Clif was raised in the L.A. area where he graduated from Rowland Heights High School.

Clif operated The Clutch Shop in Santa Ana for several years. He moved to Reno, Nevada where he lived for several years and worked at the Sands Hotel & Casino as a Slot Mechanic. He returned to California, continuing as a Slot Mechanic and then Manager at the Casino Pauma in Pauma Valley, California.

He enjoyed being around cars and motorcycles. Cliff moved to Wichita nine years ago to be close to his daughter and grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughter Theresa Burley and husband Jason of Udall, Ks.; son Jeff Bentley and wife Skye of Santa Rosa, Calif., brother Alfred Bentley and wife Karen of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister Annabel Doyle of El Sobrante, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.
