Cornelious Lee Pugh, 65, died Friday, March 13, 2026 at his home in Hutchinson, Kansas.

He was born on December 22, 1960 in Jacksonville, Florida, the son of Leon C. and Sarah K. Taylor Pugh. Lee was raised and attended schools in the Jacksonville area.

For several years he did construction work which included helping to build the Jacksonville Pier. Lee served in the U.S. Army and moved to Kansas in 2005.

He married Amanda Margaret Parkinson on January 26, 2006 in Junction City, Kansas. They have lived in Hutchinson for the past 10 years.

Lee enjoyed helping people in any way possible. He was an avid online player of the Tiger Wood Golf Game.

Survivors include his wife Amanda of the home in Hutchinson; brothers Leepolan Pugh of Junction City and George Pugh of Jacksonville; and his sister Mildred Pugh of Jacksonville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Alphonso Pugh, Charles Pugh, Aaron Elliott Pugh, and Leon Edward Pugh, Sr.
