Cristi Ann Voorhees-Morton was born on June 25, 1954, moments after her twin brother Chris Alan Voorhees, in Santa Monica, California. She was the fifth and youngest child of JoAnn Beverly (Main) Voorhees and William Neal Voorhees. Cristi often joked that Chris should have let the girl go first, but Chris reasonably asserted that he simply went out first to make sure everything was safe for her. The stories of "Risti and Boy" are amusing, and legendary among family.

Cristi was still a baby when her mother and siblings relocated to Herington, Kansas. She graduated from Herington High School in 1972, received a scholarship to Stormont Vail in Topeka, Kansas, and went on to be an x-ray technician at numerous medical facilities, from Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Kansas to Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California, and back to Kansas at Herington Municipal Hospital and later at Newton Breast Care Center. She was highly respected amongst her peers and performed her duties with empathy and professionalism.

Cristi had two children, Nicole Joy and Nigel Ian; and six grandchildren; Tre and Cole (Nicole & John), Oliver & Olivia, Beau & Bella (Nigel & Rachael).  She spent her later years in Wichita, Kansas, near her daughter, mother, twin brother and two of her grandchildren.

Cristi loved to travel and, in her younger years, visited Australia, Greece, and other European countries. She loved music, art, photography, and deep conversations with family and friends. More than anything though, she loved her kids and grandkids, and always tried to be a great Mom and "Nana."

She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Voorhees; her step-father, Wayne Weber; her brother, Steven Voorhees; her sisters, Darri Voorhees and JoDee Voorhees; and her mother, JoAnn Voorhees-Weber-Krop.

Her grieving survivors include her children, grandchildren, twin brother, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her half-sister, Marilyn "Niki" Weber, who remains eternally grateful for her big sister Cristi's love and support during difficult times.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2925 Old Missouri Rd., Fayetteville, AR, 72703.

Memorial celebrations of Cristi's life will be held in Fayetteville, Arkansas and Herington, Kansas; dates and times yet to be determined according to family and friends schedules.
