Crystal Jean Carron, 58, of Peck, Kansas, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Rock Regional Hospital in Derby, Kansas.

She was born on April 23, 1966 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of George G. and Norma Jean Conn Stevens. The family moved from Chicago to Wichita in 1968 and later moved to Derby in 1978. Crystal graduated from Derby High School in 1984.

She married David Thomas Carron on May 25, 1985 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Wichita. With David serving in the U. S. Army they traveled throughout the country, and settled in Peck when he retired.

Crystal and David are members of St. Anne Catholic Church. For the last five years, she worked at the Army Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) on McConnell Air Force Base.  She also enjoyed working in her garden.

Survivors include her husband David of the home; children April Carron and Christopher Carron of Wichita, and Brittni Haskett and husband Ricky of Crestview, Florida; along with her mother Norma Jean Stevens of Derby; brother Curt Stevens of Wichita; and two grandchildren whom she loved spending time with, Jordynn and Journee Carron.

Crystal is preceded in death by her father, George and her grandparents, Bill and Jean Conn.

The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 7 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Wichita, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M.

Per the family's request, please wear something purple, in either apparel or accessories.

Private family inurnment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Wichita.
