Cindy Potter, 74 years old, has joined her daughter, Rachel, in Heaven.

Cindy was a beloved sister, daughter, and aunt, but the role she held most dearly in her heart was being a mom to Rachel. She loved watching her grow, coloring with her, and fixing her long, beautiful hair.

Cindy is preceded in death by Rachel; her parents, C.W. and Lou Potter, and her niece Traci.

She is survived by two sisters Carolyn (Bob) and Christy (James); brother Cary; nephews Matt (Kalynn) along with Jason Miller and his son Camden.

Cindy was never one to take the well traveled road, choosing instead to mark her own path in life. She was a free spirit – a real down to earth, gentle soul. She was certainly a force of nature. She loved all God's creatures, especially dogs and cats.

She will forever be a part of us and we will remember all she taught us, and especially her laughter and beautiful smile.

Graveside services and interment will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, January 23 at the Temple of Memories Mausoleum of White Chapel Memorial Garden in Wichita, Kansas.
