Dale Michael Koziol, 65, died Monday, July 6, 2026 at his home in Derby, Kansas.

He was born on August 30, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Lawrence P. and Nadine Elizabeth Knaup Koziol. The family lived in the Pittsburg, Kansas area for many years.

Dale moved to Wichita in 2006 and was a machinist for Kansas Gun Drilling for several years.

Survivors include his wife Debra Lou Belknap Koziol of the home who he married in 2015 and his daughter Mandy Heckler of Crump, Texas.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents and brother Lawrence Koziol.

A Celebration of Life is being planned.
