Danny Lee Welsh, 78, passed away on November 16, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on October 12, 1946, to William Henry Welsh and Dorothy (Kellenberger) Welsh-Nelson.

Danny worked as an inspector in the aircraft industry for many years until his retirement. He was a lifelong resident of Wichita. In his free time, Danny enjoyed watching classic John Wayne movies, the show Walker Texas Ranger, and often laughed hysterically at Ridiculousness. He had a deep passion for classic cars, particularly his 1952 MG. Above all, he loved his family more than anything else.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, step father, Wendell Nelson, two brothers, Steven Welsh and Bruce Welsh, and nephews, Waylon Welsh.

He is survived by his daughter, Julie Welsh; son, Jeff Welsh; sister, Billie Rae Adams (Larry); and eight grandchildren: Kori (Dean), Shelbey, Adrian (Ramya), Chase, Brianna, Colby, Taylor, and Tanner. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren: Chevy, Wyatt, Carter, Xzander, Maria, Rohan, Walker, and Aryah, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held.
