Darrin O'Neill

Darrin Joseph O’Neill, 53, died Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at his home in Conway Springs, Kansas.

He was born on July 9, 1973 in Salem, Massachusetts, the son of Jospeh and Carmen Diane Freund O’Neill. The family moved to Kansas in 1975 and settled in Conway Springs.

Darrin graduated from Conway Springs High School in 1991 and later attended Pratt Community College.

Through the years he had lived in Coldwater, Kansas, moving later to Wichita along with his children before returning to Conway Springs.

He had worked at the foundry in Norwich and was a welder for Case Manufacturing.

Darrin loved to play the guitar and doing artwork with paints.

Family was very important to him. Survivors include his son Thomas O’Neill of Douglass, Ks.; daughter Alexis O’Neill of Wichita; his sister Deborah O’Neill her family including, his nephews Nathan and Xavier, his nieces Alaina and Katelynn of Conway Springs, and Donna Tice with her husband Rusty of Wichita, his nephew Cameron O’Neill of Fort Collins, Colorado, Joseph Robbins of Mulvane Ks.

Darrin is preceded in death by his parents and brother Donald O’Neill.

A Celebration of Life will be announced by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
