Darrin Wayne White
April 14th 1968 - December 18th 2025
Wichita, Kansas
Darrin White, age 57, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on December 18th 2025, surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on April 14th 1968, in Wichita, Kansas, Darrin was the son of Linda and Doyle White. He is preceded in death by both parents.
He is survived by his wife Angela Womack, daughter Paige White, son Richard (Spencer) White and their daughter Zoey, step-children Ashlee Vickers, Alexis Standifer, Shelby (Austin) Davis and their children Colter and Bonnie, Tobi (Chasen) Sowell and their son Chasen Jr., sister Steffanie (Scott) Walz and beloved nieces and nephews.
From an early age he showed a strong work ethic that followed him throughout his life and into his career that all started with him working on his Dad's car lot at an early age. He worked there until he graduated high school and then moved on to college at Emporia State University.
Darrin attended college for 3 years before being offered a position at Coleman where he showed his exemplary work ethic that eventually led him to being promoted to a supervisor. After working there for nearly 15 years, he then moved to Center Industries where he quickly impressed them with his wittiness and positive attitude. He had no problem getting promotions there either and became a manager, which let him thrive by showing people what he does best, being a great leader. In Darrin's final days, he was awarded for his 15 years of service with a plaque delivered to his hospital room.
Darrin recently rediscovered his faith and love for God while attending Sunday services at Faith Community Church. God blessed him with a feeling of peace and comfort while navigting his cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Darrin never let his diagnosis stop him from his passions and hobbies. One of his favorites was fitness, which followed him to his last days of life and led him to walking up to 2 miles in the hospital in between treatments. Darrin was an amazing dad dog. If he wasn't at home or working, you could usually find him taking his two pups, Ash and Oliver for walks around the neighborhood. On nice days you could even find Ash being a passenger on his motorcycle.
Above all he loved spending time with those close to him. He loved having his family over for cookouts and taking them to Mosley Street Melodrama. Darrin always said he wanted to be the one to show everyone how to fight cancer and those inspiring thoughts will carry on with everyone forever.
