David Ray Humbolt, 70, lifelong Mulvane area resident, died Wednesday, December 4, 2024 as the result of a farming accident near his home in Mulvane, Kansas.

He was born on March 10, 1954 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Lloyd and Minnie Miller Humbolt. David was raised on a farm outside of Mulvane and graduated from Mulvane High School in 1972.

He married Elizabeth Renee' Holl on December 30, 1982 in Derby. They continued to farm and ranch outside of Mulvane.

Survivors include his wife Elizabeth of the home; sons John Humbolt, Jacob Humbolt and his wife Jennifer; brothers Tom Humbolt and wife Cathi, Tony Humbolt and wife Renee; and two grandchildren Parker McDaniel and Allie Humbolt all of Mulvane.

David is preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister Connie.

Memorial services will be held in the Spring of 2025.

Arrangements are by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
