Dean Cordon VanGieson, 65, died Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at his home in Wichita, Kansas.
He was born on February 8, 1961 in Anthony, Kansas. Dean was raised and lived in the Anthony and Harper area for several years.
He later moved to Wichita where he was a tooling engineer for Boeing Aircraft for many years. Dean enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his two sisters Amy Jo Hartman and Angela Rose VanGieson both of Wichita; along with two nieces Stephanie Hartman and Tierra Van Gieson.
Dean is preceded in death by his father Cameron Elton VanGieson; mother Rubye Mae Cummins VanGieson; brother David Eugene VanGieson; and step-mother Sherry VanGieson.
Friends and family will gather to remember Dean on Wednesday, July 15 between 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. at Side Pockets, 614 South Tyler Road, Wichita, Kansas 67212.
