Debra Kay Tasker, age 75, of Wichita, KS peacefully passed away on July 10, 2026 surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with COPD and emphysema.

Born on May 24, 1951 in Wichita, KS to Cecil and Ellen Nelson, Deb grew up with a passion for roller skating, live music and spending time with family and friends. After graduating from Southeast High School in Wichita, KS, Deb spent years working as a receptionist, sales professional, business owner and mom. Beyond work, Deb was happiest when eating savory foods and engaging in good conversation. Known for a signature breakfast casserole and Thanksgiving crab legs, Deb always made time to be a friend.

Deb is survived by her children Tonya Patterson, Sheila Tasker and Kevin Flickinger, Zach and Paige Tasker; grandchildren Cody Patterson, Mikayla Patterson, Atlas Flickinger, and Penny Flickinger. Deb was preceded in death by her older brother, Larry Nelson. In liu of services friends and family are welcome to contact the family regarding a dinner that will be held in Deb's memory.
