Debra Lee (Hill)Winburn a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother passed May 30 2025 at the age of 69

Born in Decatur Alabama July 14 1955 to Raymond and Leola Hill. Debra moved to Chicago IL where she met and married Clyde Winburn. She went to school for cosmetology where she found her passion for doing hair.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Leola (Hill) Winburn, grandson, Demarc Burgess, sister, Zerlene Verzel Hill, brother, Curley Backus, and her best friend, Christian Mitchell.

She survived by her daughter Devorah, grandchildren Alandress Winburn, Tyreese Winburn, Lonja Autry, Mark Burgess Jr., Sparkle Burgess, Eric Burgess, Markel Winburn and 8 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters; Ella Ruth Hill, David Wayne Hill, David Wendell Taylor, Raymond Glenn Hill Jr., Levine "Nat" Hill, Louis and Alandress, and a long list of Nieces and Nephews.

Letter to my Mother

I didn't know that day would be your last

I didn't know God was giving you your wings, I prayed for no more pain no more suffering for you to just be at peace

I didn't know that meant you being taken from me

I miss you so much and my heart aches but I'm so grateful for the time GOD gave. I carry you in my heart and know that we will see each other again.  You are at peace you get to rest now Love you Mama.
