Delinda Grace Willis, 58, of Augusta, Kansas, died Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Center of Ascension Via Christi Medical Center-St. Francis Campus in Wichita.

She was born on March 22, 1967 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Joel Albert and Clarious Duty Copeland. Delinda was raised in Wichita, later moving to Augusta. She married John Franklin Willis, Jr. on March 24, 1988 in Wellington. They lived in Wellington for a short time before moving to Augusta.

Delinda enjoyed doing arts, crafts, watching movies, and being outdoors. She was a hardworking woman who loved animals.

Survivors include her husband John of the home in Augusta; children David Lee Copeland of Augusta, Syndal Kester and husband Justin of Udall, and Katrina Willis of Augusta; along with her 10 grandchildren who she loved spending time with.

Delinda is preceded in death by parents; brothers Mike, Henry and Joel Copeland; and sister Freda Mae Fisher.

No services are being planned.
