Denise Marie Stonecipher, 68, died Friday, October 3, 2025 at her home in El Dorado, Kansas.

She was born on January 28, 1957 in Wichita, the daughter of Leroy and Bonnie Gray Hammond. Denise was raised and attended school in Wichita.

She married David Wayne Stonecipher on June 25, 1976 in Ft. Riley, Kansas. They lived in several places while he was serving in the military. After being discharged Denise and David moved to Wichita and later in the Butler County area.

Denise enjoyed playing board games, baking and doing ceramics.

Survivors include her sons David Wynn of Wichita, Daniel Stonecipher and wife Rachael of Proctorville, Ohio and Tony Stonecipher and wife Rachel of Crown City, Ohio; brother Lyle Hammond and wife Beth of Andover; sisters Anita Gobel of El Dorado and Venus Bishop and husband Terry of Furley, Ks.; along with 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Private family services will be held.
