Obituary

Dennis Gora Jr., 64, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024 in Wichita, Kansas.  He was born on June 23, 1960 in Highland Park, Illinois where he attended school and college.  Dennis met the love of his life and married Carmela Gleeson on June 9, 1990 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. They moved to Wichita shortly after their marriage where Dennis worked as a printer pressman for over 25 years.

Dennis was proud of his family and loved spending time with his wife, two sons, and his Grandchildren. He always kept tic tacks in his pocket, so he always had something to give his Grandchildren when visiting and playing trains and cars.  Also, Dennis enjoyed being outside and teaching his two boys while they work on cars. Overtime, Dennis was promoted to supervisor of car repairs while he watched his two sons do the hard work.

Dennis was known for his love of Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Often, you would see Dennis and Carmela riding their Harleys enjoying the nice day and stopping to visit with family and friends.

Dennis was a quiet man who enjoyed Reeces candy and didn't complain much. He had a sense of humor and loved to tease and tell stories to his Grandkids.  He will be dearly missed.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents Dennis Gora Sr. and Nina Mae Kosmin.
