Obituary

Donald “Don” Paul Jarman, age 71, of Eureka, Ks, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Ks. He was born on January 11, 1955 in Chetopa, Ks to Marvin and Revilla (Curnutte) Jarman.

He graduated from LCHS of Attamont, Ks in 1973. In March of 1976 he was united in marriage to Marilyn Brown and to this union, three children were born. They later divorced. In October of 1983 he married Cheryl Ohles, this marriage later ended in divorce. Don dedicated many years of his life as a grain elevator operator, welder, farmer, postal worker, and a dietary aide in nursing facilities. Amongst hunting and fishing, he had many other hobbies that included wood-burning, playing solitaire, playing his guitar and singing, watching westerns and wrestling. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends at the senior center. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and his cats.

He is survived by his twin daughters, Crystal (Wes) Stewart, and Kara (Leon) DeVore, both of Eureka, and daughters; Shellie Collins of Joplin, Mo, and Emily Jarman of Tulsa, Ok, son, Brian (Sheleen) Jarman of Cheney, Ks, and 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and one brother, Ron (Mary) Jarman of Oswego, Ks.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Revilla, son Michael, and two brothers; David and Kenneth.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Ks.
