Donna Rae Denio, 67, of Preston, Kansas, died Thursday, January 23, 2025 at the Pratt Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pratt, Kansas.

She was born on May 19, 1957 in New York, the daughter of Donald and Nina Petty Dimitt. And later moved to Kansas where Donna attended Ness City High School.

She lived in the Turon, Kansas area before moving to Preston 15 years ago. Through the years Donna had been a C.N.A. at Hilltop Manor in Cunningham and also Pratt Health and Rehab.

Donna loved spending time with her family, playing cards and the Guitar Hero video game. She was also a wonderful cook.

Survivors include her sons William "Billy" Denio and wife Jennifer of Kingman, Christopher Denio of Pratt; brothers Bruce Dimitt and Donald Dimitt of Lyons, Ks.; sister T.J. Tatro and husband Bill of Chase, Ks.; and 10 grandchildren.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents; sons David Dimitt, Steven Denio, Andy Denio; brothers Steve Dimitt, Bobby Dimitt; and sisters Bonnie Babcock and Vicki Weed.
