Douglas Kimball

Douglas Owen Kimball, 66, passed away on August 10, 2026 at his home in Wichita, Ks. He was born on February 2, 1960 in Bridgeport, CT, to Hollis and Mary (Snook) Kimball.

He was an avid golfer, he enjoyed playing bass guitar, and working on cars. As a Sound Engineer, he created lasting memories with many people while touring with bands such as Steppenwolf, The Goo Goo Dolls, and Tears for Fears, among numerous others.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Marji Kimball, two sons; Taylor Kimball, and Connor Kimball, brother, Duane Kimball, two sisters; Holly Skaggs, and Heather Keens, and granddaughter, Katherina Kimball.
