Doy Robinson, 84, passed away on April 14, 2026 at his home in Rose Hill, Ks. He was born on October 8, 1941 in Lamb Township, Ar, the 2nd of 4 children of George Cecil and Dovie Lea (Smith) Robinson.

Doy graduated from high school 1959 in Westville, Ok. In 1960 on a trip with his sister, Verena to California, he met his future wife, Mary Jane Gogley. They married on January 30, 1961 in California. They would welcome four children throughout their marriage. Rick while in California, Debbie, Denise, and Mike in Kansas, the family lived in Gravette, Ar. He retired from Cessna and Textron in October of 2003. After retirement, Doy and Jane would move to Oxford, Ks where they lived until her passing in 2016. He then lived out the rest of his life near Mike, Laura and their family in Rose Hill, Ks.

He was a wonderful father that provided and sacrificed for his family. He was a skilled woodworker and enjoyed collecting coins. A kid of the 50's, he loved classic cars and he always took pride in his home and vehicles. However, his proudest achievement was that of his children and was always supportive of them and their families.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary Jane Robinson, and his sister, Louise Tenney.

He is survived by his four children; Rick Robinson (Terri) of Osceola, Ia, Debbie Meek (Steve) of Bella Vista, Ar, Denise Zamayoa (Abraham) of Siloam Springs, Ar, and Mike Robinson (Laura) of Rose Hill, Ks, 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, brother, Lawrence Robinson of Ar, and Verena Warren of Nm,

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Senior Center 217 E Silknitter Street Rose Hill, Ks 67133. A private graveside will be held in Oxford, KS.
