Edward E. Green, age 79, passed away on June 1, 2026, at Pine Village in Moundridge, Kansas.

Ed was born on September 2, 1946, in Beggs, Oklahoma, to Norman and Mildred Green. On September 10, 1976, he married Sharon Taylor in Wilson, Oklahoma. Together they shared nearly 50 years of marriage.

Ed dedicated 26 years of service to Ingersoll Rand/Dresser Rand. He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and hunting with his children, traveling, and watching his grandchildren participate in sports and other activities. Above all, he cherished time spent with his wife, Sharon, and his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Green; his children, Keith Green of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Bryan (Trudy) Stephens of Little River, Kansas; Ray (Tania) Stephens of Jenks, Oklahoma; and Kim (Jason) Byler of Bells, Texas.

He is also survived by 16 grandchildren: Brittany (Ty) Caudle, Drake Green, Cody (Sierra) Green, Adrian (Kaytlyn) Green, BJ (Audrey) Stephens, Megan (Caden) Ackerman, Graham Stephens, Grant Stephens, Christopher (Kristin) Stephens, Katy Stephens, Tyler Bledsaw, Lauren Bledsaw, Caden Bledsaw, Samantha Clark (wife of Keelan), Kamdyn Clark, Kendal Clark, Keegan Byler, and Kody Byler.

Ed was blessed with 19 great-grandchildren: Hadley, Remy, Zoey, and Laney Stephens; Rhyan and Rhett Ackerman; Ciara and Matthew Green; Kia, Wesley, Brenen, Jodie, and Michael Caudle; Brantly and Stetson Green; Samantha, Rowan, and Teddy Stephens; and Carter Bledsaw.

Additional survivors include his sisters, Nell Green of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and Joann Shelton of Bristow, Oklahoma; and his brother, Ronnie Green of Beggs, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Mildred Green, and his grandson, Keelan Clark.

A celebration of Ed's life will be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at a later date.
