Eldon “Tom” LaFollette

Eldon Thomas “Tom” LaFollette, 67, of Peck, KS, passed away due to heart failure June 17, 2026 in Haysville, KS, in the loving company of his close family and hospice caregivers.

He was born January 3, 1959 in Wichita, KS, to Eldon Benjamin LaFollette and Irene Faye (Mott) LaFollette. He spent many years working at Learjet until retirement. He enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels, watching NASCAR, and going shooting. He loved each of his dogs he had throughout his life, especially Ginger, whom he was devastated to lose to illness briefly before his passing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Leslie LaFollette, and his sisters Jane Helt and Marty Johnson. He is survived by his stepsons Shane Morris and Stacy Morris, sister Susan Vano, grandchildren Marissa Combs, Baker Morris, and Sadie Morris, great grandson Walter Combs, numerous nieces and nephews, great nephew Chad Johnson, and dear friends Jack Baird and Chrissy Baird.

The family would like to thank hospital staff and hospice workers for their care and dedication.
