Elsie Louise Nolasco, 69, died Friday, January 3, 2025 at her home in Wichita, Kansas surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on June 22, 1955 in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of John Robert and Dorothy Mae Russell Walker, Sr. The family later moved to Wichita where Elsie attended Wichita North High School.

She married Jose Hector Nolasco on December 16, 1985 in Wichita where they continued to live.  Elsie loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Jose of the home; sons Joseph Naranjo and wife Claudia, Gable Naranjo and wife Katrina all of Wichita; daughter Venus Shea and husband Robert of Kingman, Ks.; brothers Allen Walker and Wife Dawn of Wichita, Jack Walker and wife Kay Lynn of Wellington, Ks.; sisters Wanda Peredoe of El Dorado, Ks., Janet Bigley and husband John, Joan Walker, Rose Bigley and husband Fred, Linda Gonzalez, Carol Stidham and husband Terry, Diane Shaver all of Wichita; 21 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Elsie is preceded in death by her parents; brothers John Robert Walker, Jr., Charles "Chuck" William Walker; and two infant sisters Barbara Jean Walker and Mary Jean Walker.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 10, 2025 at Affordable Cremations Plus in Wichita, Kansas.
