Francis E. Doss, 73, passed away on June 29, 2025 at his home in South Hutchinson, Ks surrounded by his family. He was born on July 10, 1951 in Carrollton, Mo to Wesley and Elma (Henderson) Doss.

He served in the US Navy for 7 years during the Vietnam Era. He was served on the US Nimitz and US Oriskney ships as part of the crash crew. He had many jobs through his life, he was a truck driver, mechanic, carpenter, and a chef. He enjoyed working on hot rods and woodworking. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Carolyn and Sheryl, and brother Ronnie.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon, son, Alvie Lohr, daughter, Eileen Owens, brother, Jimmy Doss, and sister, Cindy Doss, 8 grandchildren; Colette, Elizabeth, Emmie, Myriah, Alera, April, Rebecca, and Kaytlyn, 7 great grandchildren; Jayson, Randy, Harley, Elias, Finn, Navell, and Leo.

Celebration of life to be held Sunday, July 6,2025 from 1-3pm  at the American Legion in Hutchinson Ks.
