Frank James Wilson, 69, died Thursday, November 27, 2025 at his home in Newton, Kansas.

He was born on July 16, 1956 in Encino, California, the son of Lowell Wayne and Barbara Jean Wilson. Frank graduated from high school in Encino.

He married Deborah Stewart in 1978 at the Chapel Of the Wildwood in Upland, CA. Even though later divorcing, they remained very close friends.

Frank continued to live in California until moving to Newton 20 years ago. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Frank had retired from Cessna Aircraft in Wichita.

Survivors include Deborah Wilson of the home in Newton; sons James Wilson and wife Viridiana Solorio of Newton, Frank Wilson and wife Jessica of Atlanta, Georgia, Joshua Wilson and wife Kori of Lindsborg, Kansas; and 15 grandchildren.

He is also survived by his sisters Janel Wilson, Cynthia Wilson, Tawny Wilson, and Debbie Wilson.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents and brother Kent.
