Geraldine Faye Sykes, 94, passed away on June 12, 2025 at The Center at Waterfront in Wichita, Ks. She was born on February 3, 1931 in Wichita, Ks to Francis and Laura (Hamilton) Perry.

Geraldine spent her entire life being a caregiver to all ages, she loved spending time with her family and making sure everyone had what they needed. She was an avid doll collector, enjoying puzzles and crocheting. She also enjoyed watching Games Shows, Westerns, and General Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Sykes, son, Michael Sykes, and her siblings; sisters; Radine Proffet, Nadine Sparks, Peggy Hamilton, brothers; Jack Perry, Ray Perry,  Robert Perry

She is survived by her son, Marty Sykes, daughter, Amy Swaney, four grandchildren; James Doty, Michael Doty, Amber Kellogg (Jake), and Caysi Sykes, 11 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.

At the families request, a small private graveside service will be held.
