Gordan Lynn Carson, age 66, of Great Bend, Kansas passed away on Monday August 19, 2024, at the University of Kansas Health Systems, Great Bend, Kansas.

Gordan was born on April 15, 1958, in Great Bend, Kansas to Johnny H. Carson and Betty Jean (Brite) Carson. He was united in marriage to Charletta Evel and has three children. Gordon L. Carson Jr., Daniel J. Carson & Erin R. Masterton.

He married Kathleen (Shelton) Carson in Great Bend, on April 15, 2009. Gordon was an avid Fisherman and Hunter.

Survivors include his wife Kathleen; three children Gordon L. Carson. Jr. of Larned, Kansas, Daniel J. Carson (Jerilynn) of Shawano, Wisconsin, Erin R. Masterton (Steven) of Huntsville, Alabama;  brother Dennis D. Carson of Norman, Arkansas, and one sister Lori J. Felsburg of Great Bend, Kansas; along with grandchildren, Kevin W. Masterton, Savannah R. Masterton.

Gordan was preceded in death by both his parents; brother Benny H. Carson; sister Rhonda Y. Herren; his first wife Charletta Eve; and a sister-in-law Beth Carson.

According to his wishes there will be a Celebration Of Life Service held later.
