Gwilym Robert Protheroe, 81, Army Veteran, passed away on September 6, 2024. He was born on December 25, 1942 to Gwilym Amos and June (Smith) Protheroe in Medicine Lodge, Ks.

He retired from the aircraft industry as a mechanic, he enjoyed gardening and being out in nature as well as working on various types of machines.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Merry.

He is survived by his children; Renee Protheroe, Bill Protheroe, Ron Protheroe, and Vanessa Marran, two grandchildren; Shardae Dickgrafe, and BJ Protheroe Tarrant, two great grandchildren; Mackenzie Protheroe Tarrant and Lorlei Griffis.

Private family services to be held.
