James Thomas Brown, VI

James Thomas Brown, VI, 38, died Tuesday, June 30, 2026 in Arkansas City, Kansas.

He was born on September 7, 1987 in Winfield, Kansas and was raised in Arkansas City.

James was on the Ark City Little League Wrestling Team where he won the State Championship for the 12 year old’s 72 pound category. He attended Arkansas City High School.

Through the years he worked at Creekstone Farms in Arkansas City.

Survivors include his daughter Rylynn Patridge of Wichita; father James Thomas “Tom” Brown, V of Arkansas City; mother Dana Stone of Wichita; brother Jeromey Brown and girlfriend Samantha Dewitt of Winfield; uncles and aunt, Wes Cook of Afton, Okla., John Cook of Ponca City, Okla., Jacquie Branscum of Winfield; Clifton Stone of Wichita.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents James Thomas “Jim” Brown, IV, Roma Brown, Janice “Jan” Brown, Travis and Teresa Stone.
