James Edenfield

James D. (Jim) Edenfield passed away on June 5, 2026. He was born on July 22, 1951, in Wichita, KS.

Jim was a former City of Wichita firefighter, Boeing Fire Captain, Boeing Safety Manager for the Wichita, KS and Auburn, WA facilities, and retired Employee/Union Relations Administrator/Manager for the Boeing Company.

Jim proudly served his country as a Naval Gunfire F.O./Paratrooper in the United States Marine Corps during the Viet Nam era.

He was preceded in death by his wife Tammy, parents Kenneth and Imogene, and his brother, David.

Jim is survived by daughter Marie Dick, Amy Rodriguez, Jake (Samar) Edenfield, Laura (Tom) Hand, Tara (Terry) Cook, and seven grandchildren; Ariana Cook, Jackson and Francisco (Kiko) Rodriguez, Tayten and Lucille (Lucy) Edenfield, Reid and Chase Hand.

A private graveside service for immediate family will be held.

A Celebration Of Life will take place at 4:00pm on June 25th at Jim and Tammy's residence located at 4137 N Jasmine, Wichita, KS 67226.
