James A. Fairbanks, 78, passed away on June 21, 2026 in Wichita, Ks. He was born on July 28, 1947 in Carthage, Mo to Amon and Effie Fairbanks.

He retired from Boeing as a machinist. In his spare time he enjoyed old cars and riding four wheeler’s.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Janet Noels, and sister, Jane Schild.

He is survived by his son, Steven Fairbanks, and two grandchildren; Tristan and Basha.
