James Thomas Turner, 59, of Stillwater, Oklahoma gained his wings on May 26, 2026 with his loving family by his bedside. He was born on August 29, 1966 in Los Banos, California.

James was a dedicated truck driver for many years and took great pride in his work. Outside of his career, he loved spending time in his backyard working on his racecar. He was a devoted racing enthusiast who enjoyed attending races and gathering ideas and inspiration for the day he would complete his own car. As he often said, he was "getting information" for when his racecar was finished.

On July 2, 2022, James married the love of his life, Nancy Turner. Together they shared a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

James is survived by his wife, Nancy Turner; his children, Justen Turner, Jamie Pitre, Andrew Rollins, and stepson Josh Ortiz; and his four beloved grandchildren, Hayden, Hunter, Andrew Jr., and Angela. He is also survived by his brother, Steve Turner; nieces and nephews, and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Norma Jean Turner; his sister, Debbie;

James will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of racing, and the joy he found in spending time with family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details will be announced once arrangements have been finalized.
