With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Janel L. Ward, who left this world on February 22, 2026 at the age of 69.
Born on December 30th in Wichita, Kansas, Janel lived a life defined by compassion, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was a loving mother, cherished grandmother, and loyal friend. Her presence brought warmth and steadiness to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Janel had a gift for helping others, making people laugh, and her home was always a place of comfort and welcome. She was the 3rd generation in health and skin care business. She belived in kindness, hard work, and loving your family, and she passed those values on to her children and grandchildren through both words and example.

She is survived by her son Hayden Ward, her daughter Hanna Ward, grandchildren Kaydence Ward, Nathan Ward, and Carson Houser, her sister Tanis (Richard) Murphy and brother Neel Pizinger.

She was preceded in death by husband Kenneth Ward and her parents Francis and Tina Johnson.

More than anything, Janel will be remembered for her beautiful smile, fierce love, resilience, generosity, quiet strength, and her love for taking care of people. Her legacy lives on in the lives she shaped, the lessons she taught, and the love she gave so freely.

A celebration of life will be held on March 21st at 1:00 p.m. at the Valley Center Community Building. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Victory In The Valley.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the years we shared and the memories that will remain with us forever.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
